when we think about the creation of the universe, when we think about the creation of the universe, we often forget how mind-blowing it actually is. its easy to forget that God created the heavens and the earth in 7 days, and that the universe was formed immediately when God spoke life into it.

when we think about the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, they are all here because God wanted them to be. the trees outside your window and the clouds above you are, again, perfectly created by our heavenly Father. crazy, right?

the lyrics to “so will i (100 billion x)” by hillsong worship talks about the beauty of God’s creation.

everything that God has created was made to display His beauty and power. the stars, the mountains, the oceans, the wind.. they are all formed with distinct differences and purposes. this includes us. God created us like He created the stars in the sky - each uniquely different, even among the other 7 billion people on this planet.

if God would take the time to make each star in the sky unique and perfect, why would He not do the same for you? even the smallest details were perfectly hand crafted by our heavenly Father. pretty crazy when you think about it!
its astounding that the creator of the whole unive its astounding that the creator of the whole universe knows you. and even more astounding that He wants to hear from you.

when we call on the Lord, let us set our minds on seeking the truth. although understandable that we call on God for a certain answer we want, we should learn to seek Him for His best answer.

when paul wrote his letter to the romans (and gotten through chapter 11), he was forced to stop and praise God. His ways are far above our ways, and its a privilege for believers to learn what he has revealed about himself. every time we truly grow in our knowledge of Him, we will be like paul, praising God for his “unsearchable” ways.

its a blessing to become a believer who studied the Word of God enough to realize there is a great deal that we “do not know” because this understanding will lead to total surrender. what we cannot know, we dont need to know. we know God knows it all, and that is enough to trust Him and let Him be in charge.

ELISHA CADEY

BUILDING AN INTENTIONAL AND MINDFUL LIFESTYLE

About

Hi, I’m Elisha!

This space is dedicated to documenting my lifestyle as Elisha Cadey. This includes content such as faith, wellness, and my latest adventures showcased through food, travel, and individuals.

In 2024, I went through an unexpected season of my life – I didn’t quite have the time to process this situation before I had to pack my belongings, move out, leave my community, and fly back home.

Back home now, while I sat by myself with a million thoughts on my mind, God reminded me of this story, and my heart was convicted on the spot.

“If it be so, our God whom we serve can rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire; and He will rescue us from your hand, O king. But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods nor worship the golden statue that you have set up.” – Daniel 3:17-18

King Nebuchadnezzar was unhappy. Three men were thrown into a fiery furnace because of their faith in God, and yet they emerged unscathed – without a single hair on their head burnt. The king was impressed and promoted the three men to important public positions, and the men emphatically praised their God.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Romans 8:28 (NIV)

Sometimes, the road we must travel is not an easy one. Sometimes, we may feel like we are dropped into a fiery furnace. But regardless of the things we must go through, God is still good – even if our circumstances are not. Our circumstances are not going to change what Jesus has done for us.

I learned that every season comes with some sort of tension. One moment, lights can be twinkling and our hearts full of joy, and the next may be filled with deep suffering. No matter where we find ourselves on that spectrum today, I hope you’ll find joy in your journey here with me. This is a space where you can release the overwhelming emotions in life and have a moment of light-heartedness.

Through Elisha Cadey, I want to share what I learned and am still learning in this ever-evolving world. I hope you’ll be inspired and encouraged to be intentional in living your best life every day. This space is created not just for myself but also for all of you.

xx grateful you are here
